Pittsburgh mayor Luke Ravenstahl loves the Pittsburgh Steelers and has mad his fair share of headlines due to wagers and stunts he has pulled during the team’s playoff runs in the present and past.

Most recently, Ravenstahl changed his name to “Steelerstahl” during a matchup between the Steelers and their division rival Baltimore Ravens during the playoffs last season. This time, Ravenstahl made a friendly wager with Denver mayor Michael Hancock on the Steelers – Broncos game.

With the Broncos winning, Ravenstahl needed to put on a Tim Tebow jersey and do the trademark “Tebowing” pose in the city of Pittsburgh. Ravenstahl held up to his end of the deal and showed some visual proof.

“This is not something I ever thought I’d have to do, and it’s certainly not something I’m looking forward to,” Ravenstahl, said. “However, we’re good sports here in Pittsburgh and I want to congratulate Denver on a great win.”

The Steelers are now in the offseason after being eliminated and they are trying to regroup and gear up for another Super Bowl run next season. In the meantime, Mayor Ravenstahl will need to regroup and pick his pride up off the floor.
