Let The Matt Flynn Talk Continue; Where Will He Land?

And the Matt Flynn talk continues… Many teams are in desperate need of a quality quarterback, where they decide to get it is still up on the air, but the name Matt Flynn has come up for many teams.

How many teams need a quality quarterback to start next season? Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and the Cleveland Browns. Some of these teams have viable options with Carson Palmer and Jason Campbell possible for Oakland and Colt McCoy possibly getting better in his third season, you never know.

There is a possibility to pick up quarterbacks in the draft and some will be ready to rock it like Cam Newton did this year but others will not be ready.

There are growing pains in the NFL. The talk of Matt Flynn gets even more interesting knowing that the Oakland Raiders are still eyeing a head coach and if he comes from Green Bay will he entice Matt Flynn to join him or will Joe Philbin bring him to Miami?

Let’s not forget the elephant in the room, Peyton Manning, with it looking more like he will be going somewhere else next year some have thrown Matt Flynn to the back burner. I am not one of those people. Let’s reflect on Matt Flynn: you may remember he took LSU to a National Championship as a fifth-year senior, before that he played second fiddle to JaMarcus
Russell.

He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2008 in the seventh round and has done well as back up for Aaron Rodgers. I believe it is time for him to shine, though. He has the skill set and has been working hard with great coaches in Green Bay. Let’s get our popcorn ready because wherever he goes it will be the Matt Flynn show!
