I have heard quite a few complaints during and after the Pro Bowl; the players look soft, it’s boring, the best players aren’t even out there, and so on. Stop whining! I do not believe the Pro Bowl is entirely for the fans, I believe it is for the players too.
It’s a great time to see these players get together, have fun, and play football like they did when they were young. Sure, the boys did not play roughneck football, they played “get your buddies together in the backyard and horse around” football. For a game they don’t seem like men they have the twinkle in their eyes, when it wasn’t always business.
Let’s be honest, it was nice to see that Brandon Marshall still has it. Even if it wasn’t in a game that meant something, it meant something to them. The fans vote on who they want to see and who they think the best is. The players have given of themselves all season and for one game they should have fun.
Didn’t anyone notice Cam Newton’s smile from ear-to-ear, or the boys laughing and joking on the sidelines, and the overall happiness this game brings?
So, stop all that complaining… The big game is this Sunday and there will be some hard knock football we can all enjoy.
