Seattle Media Makes A Case For Peyton Manning To Seahawks
By Josh Sanchez
Despite reports that Peyton Manning has a “noodle arm” and cannot throw to his left, there are still a handful of teams that appear to be interested in the older Manning brother. The popular choices we have been hearing for weeks are the Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins and New York Jets.
After a few changes to coaching staffs, teams like the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals have connections to Manning. All of these teams make sense, but there is one team out there who has the media making a case for Manning to join their squad — the Seattle Seahawks.
Brock Huard of ESPN Seattle penned an open letter to Peyton, making a case for why the Seahawks are a perfect fit. Pete Carroll, Paul Allen and the NFC West are all used as reasons for Peyton to jump ship.
It’s definitely an article to check out — which you can do by clicking here.
If the Seahawks can retain Marshawn Lynch and Sidney Rice gets healthy, Manning would have a lot of weapons in Seattle and could take that offense to the next level. There is no denying that Huard is right in saying the Seahawks and Manning are a perfect fit.
What do you think? Does Manning make sense in Seattle? Or are there other options he should consider? Sound off in the comments section.
