Vincent Jackson Not Expected To Re-Sign With Chargers

Vincent Jackson has been among the elite wide receivers in the NFL for years. He and Phillip Rivers have made the highlight reels and the playoffs together, and are one of the best QB-WR pairings in the league. But between injuries by both, and Rivers being inconsistent, Jackson has also struggled.

Jackson is set to become a free agent in just a few more weeks and the Chargers have already said they will not apply the franchise tag to him. I’m sure San Diego will try to get him back, but I doubt they will pursue him  as much as other teams that need a good receiver.

I don’t see any way Jackson plays for the Chargers next season. There just seems to be tension between everyone there and he knows he can go somewhere with less troubles — and get the money he deserves.

Some realistic teams that could land Vincent Jackson include the Jets, Buccaneers, Patriots, 49ers, Panthers, Broncos, Texans, Colts and Chargers. Where do you see Jackson landing?
