Continuing on from my last Bold Predictions article, I look to make more just as bold, or to some crazy or outrageous predictions. Be sure to leave your feedback in the comments, and look forward to the next post!
If the Patriots are able to sign Randy Moss, he will take them to back-to-back Super Bowls
Tom Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history, in my opinion, and he has done so with one of the worst receiving corps. If you look back a few years, Brady and Moss absolutely dominated. The two have set records together, and I think that would continue if Moss is signed to New England. Randy Moss loved being a Patriot, and I think that’s why he didn’t succeed in Minnesota or Tennessee before he retired.
The Detroit Lions will win the NFC North this upcoming season
Detroit had a great turn around season this year, and I believe that will carry over next season to even more wins. Matthew Stafford is healthy, and when he is I think he’s the best quarterback without a Super Bowl ring in the NFL. Calvin Johnson is dominating like usual, and the defense is becoming a powerhouse. All it will take to push the Lions to the Super Bowl is a running back that can stay healthy.
Four wide receivers will be drafted in the first round
It seems every year that you hear analysis saying there will be five WRs taken in the first round, but it’s usually only two or three. That changes this year. Justin Blackmon, Michael Floyd, Kendall Wright, and Alshon Jeffery will all be selected in the first thirty two picks. The need for receivers is growing each year, and this is the best draft to take one in.
