The Free Agency Roller Coaster Ride

For the last few days the signings of teams have blown my mind!

Questions are swirling about whether the Redskins gave too much away for RGIII. Well, for a team who barely had a starting quarterback last year it’s time to take a chance! They tools are available around the quarterback just nothing stable in that position.

I have noticed the Cowboys letting go of players and wonder why they are letting so much talent go and how they may be able to be elite with the players that the Redskins and Giants are adding? However, the addition of CB Brandon Carr is a major improvement.

One surprise was Reggie Wayne staying with the Colts after they just cleaned house. But his maturity and wealth of knowledge will truly help a young team starting a rebuilding process. The start of a new era in Indianapolis, that is for sure.

The team that is really making me sit up and take notice, the 49er’s. The pick up of WR Randy Moss is big, and re-signing CB Carlos Rodgers makes me wonder what level the 49er’s can get to next year?

With the Manning train visiting with the Bronco’s and Dolphins, it seems that depending on where it stops could send QB Tim Tebow to a new team and the Rams just picked up a fantastic WR in Laurent Robinson.

Then there are some of money players. WR Calvin Johnson just got paid, Megatron deserves every penny! WR DeSean Jackson just had a nice paycheck but may not be as well-deserved, in my opinion. G Carl Nicks was paid as he should for the All-Pro he is. CB Cortland Finnegan also made a hot little dollar and besides a little attitude he is one of the best at that position.

Stay tuned and buckle up because Peyton Manning are still floating around and so are players like Matt Flynn, Mike Tolbert, Michael Bush, Brandon Jacobs and Mario Manningham. Let the money flow and the ride continue.
