Tim Tebow Traded To New York Jets [Again] For Fourth & Sixth-Round Picks

And it is back on…

The wait to see where Tim Tebow will land is finally over. Adam Schefter has confirmed that Tebowmania is headed to The Big Apple… again. The New York Jets have traded a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick to the Denver Broncos for Tim Tebow and a seventh-round pick.

The original snag in the trade was the Jets unwillingness to pay $5 million of compensation to the Broncos, but the Jets have struck a deal with Denver and will send half of the cash to New York. Get ready for a circus.

With Rex Ryan always making headlines, Tim Tebow demanding attention everywhere, the already unstable locker room and constant criticism of Mark Sanchez, this is going to be an interesting ride.

Make no mistake about it. Tim Tebow is not coming in to start and he will not be involved in a quarterback competition with Mark Sanchez. Instead, he will be brought in to run the team’s “Seminole” package and perhaps run the offense near the goal line. Let’s hope that the Jets provide Tim Tebow with some earmuffs during Rex Ryan’s very animated speeches.

Jets fans, it’s time to go get a [expletive] snack. Tebow in the New York media is going to be one fun ride. By the way, there are already Tim Tebow Jets jerseys being spotted in New York City (photo courtesy of TerezOwens.com):
