Karlos Dansby Believes Miami Dolphins Defense Can Be Great

Picking up Karlos Dansby a couple of offseasons ago has worked out pretty well for the Miami Dolphins. And if you believe in the law of attraction, the 2012 NFL season is going to be incredible for the Dolphins — at least that’s what Dansby hopes. Fresh off the heels of predicting a Super Bowl run, Dansby has spouted out another claim that he will need to back up.

Dansby believes that the Miami defense is ready to be great.

We’ve got a chance to be great,” Dansby via the Sun Sentinel. “We have a chance to be great in this defense. We have enough skill set. We have enough talent. We can make this defense work for us.”

In order to reach that greatness, Dansby knows it will take some work, so he is hoping his teammates will stay on the grind and keep hustling prior to the opening of training camp.

“You can’t take a long break,” Dansby said. “You’ve got to be able to stay conditioned. You have to be able to stay in shape right now. The way we’re moving right now is the way we’re going to be moving at camp.”

Dansby is very optimistic about the Miami Dolphins going into the season, so the fans should hope that he witnessed something in mini camps that has given him these thoughts.

For the fans, a playoff berth would be an amazing season. But for Karlos Dansby, anything less than a Super Bowl run and greatness on defense will prove to be a major disappointment in 2012.
