The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are locked in a defensive battle at Lambeau Field. Both defensive lines have consistently found their way to the opposing quarterback and have clearly outmatched the offensive lines. Despite both teams struggles, the Packers take a 13-0 lead into the half.
The only touchdown of the game came on a perfectly executed fake field goal as Packers punter Tim Masthay tossed a 27-yard field goal to Tom Crabtree. It is the first time in Lambeau Field history that a punter has thrown a pass on the field.
Packers kicker Mason Crosby has added field goals of 48 and 35-yards.
For the Bears, they are struggling with the passing game. Jay Cutler has only completed four passes for 37 yards. The team’s number one receiver, Brandon Marshall, has not caught a pass.
Chicago’s offense racked up exactly zero yards in the first quarter.
Both offenses will need to pick up their game in the second-half. The Packers offense can come up big and put the game away to pick up their first win of the season or Chicago’s offense can get the team back in the game and try to take a 2-0 lead over the Packers in the division.
It is a highly competitive game and a second half worth watching. Tune in to see which team finds their rhythm.
