Quarterback
The Bills owner went on record saying maybe Ryan Fitzpatrick isn’t the answer and given the struggles of the Buffalo QB it’s tough to argue. Even with the decent matchup, you probably want to stay away from Fitz if you possibly can – he’s erratic at best.
Running Back
C.J. Spiller is highly elusive and one day will be a top 5 fantasy RB but he’s not there yet. Despite some big games, the former Clemson Tiger still has some rough edges to work out. For fantasy purposes he’s a RB2 this week and that’s being a little generous given recent results. In the meantime, Fred Jackson is still a Bill and still getting carries. He’s not as effective as the past two years but he’s still a high end flex option for fantasy.
Wide Receiver
Stevie Johnson left last week’s game with a thigh injury and it will still be bothering him this week. Still, I’d roll with him as per usual – as a low end WR2 or solid flex. In deeper leagues, give Donald Jones a run this week – he’s been getting more and more targets and perhaps he gets a leading role this week if Johnson has more injury issues.
Tight End
The way I describe Scott Chandler is Feast or Famine. He has his good weeks when he gets a TD. If he doesn’t, his numbers stink. I think he’ll get in the end zone this week so I’ll call him a low end starter – but I could easily be wrong on that one.
