Quarterback
Drew Brees is arguably the greatest free agent acquisition of all time and for fantasy if there was a Hall of Fame Brees would be in it. The Falcons have a pretty good defense but Drew Brees is still a must start.
Running Back
Let’s be honest – Darren Sproles won’t be back this week. That means more playing time for Pierre Thomas and since Frenchie has stayed healthy you need to be starting him in all leagues – yep, he’s a low value must start, a rarity in fantasy. In the meantime, leave Mark Ingram on your bench – he may be a former Heisman winner but he’s used sparingly and last week was matched comfortably by the team’s RB4 Chris Ivory who should be owned in as many leagues as Ingram.
Wide Receiver
While it’s no secret that Drew Brees spreads the ball around, we all know that Marques Colston will have a decent day most of the time. Colston is a solid WR2 even with the matchup. I like Lance Moore this week too – the Falcons are susceptible to the big play at times and Brees is great at reading defenses so I half expect Moore to nab one for 40+ yards. Aside from those two it’s a crapshoot – Devery Henderson and Joe Morgan are both capable of big games but good luck trying to predict them.
Tight End
With his injury worries behind him, it is safe to say that once again Jimmy Graham is one of the safest plays in fantasy football once again. If you’re not starting him, you’re nuts.
