The Seattle Seahawks received some great news on Thursday that will help their chances to advance through the playoffs. Star cornerback Richard Sherman was waiting word on whether or not his appeal of a four-game suspension would be won, and today he passed along the news that the appeal was successful.
Sherman announced the news on Twitter:
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll was happy to hear the news that Sherman would be available for the season finale.
It is a major boost for the Seahawks and will significantly increase there chances to make a run.
Sherman was firm in his stance that he was innocent all along and it appears that justice has been served. The only injustice left for Sherman is his omission from the Pro Bowl roster.
