Baltimore Ravens and Joe Flacco Agree To Deal

Reports recently broke that the Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Joe Flacco have just struck a deal.

Flacco who had outstanding numbers during the regular season (3,817 yards, 22 touchdowns and 10 ints) carried his performance into the post-season where it counted.

Entering the post-season, lead by the motivation of future Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis, Flacco and company were determined to send Lewis riding off into the sunset as a Super Bowl champion in his final year. Along with that, Joe Flacco was looking to prove that he himself, should be considered an elite quarterback.

Start all four games, completing 73 passes with 126 attempts, he threw for 1,140 yards, 11 touchdowns and 0 interceptions as the Ravens went through the Colts, Broncos, Patriots and the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47. Also earned himself Super Bowl MVP honors and a brand new car.

The deal is reported to be a multi-year contract and would make Joe Flacco the highest-paid quarterback in National Football League history. But now that he has his deal, will he remain consistent and perform the way he did this last season, through-out the big contract he will sign on Monday.

Terms of the contract are to be determined.
