Tampa Bay started the off-season with a bank load of cash and they are putting it to good use.
Looking for talent to bring in this off season to get back to playoff form, Tampa Bay Buccaneers made waves of their own by signing former San Francisco 49er Safety Dashon Goldson to a 5 year contracts worth $41.25 with $22 million guaranteed.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers let it known that they had a whole lot of cap space available and would be willing to bring in championship talent, or talent who could help them get to championship status, no matter the cost.
They are also rumored to be interested in trading for corner-back Darrelle Revis, who will more than likely be traded within the next few weeks.
The bank is still loaded for this franchise, so I guarantee you this won’t be their last big move they make as the 2nd day of free agency is half way over.
Adding Goldson will indeed boost their coverage and could be the corner stone of this defense when Ronde Barber decides to call it quits.
