The police investigation into New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez and the alleged murder of one of his associates continues to develop.
Each time we say that it tends to get worse and worse for the star tight end.
Police have searched Hernandez’s home multiple times and removed various pieces of alleged evidence. It’s been reported there is a paper warrant out for Hernandez’s arrest for obstruction of justice—that seems to be the least of his worries at the moment.
Now police are searching a body of water near Hernandez’s home according to Kathryn Sotnick of NECN Boston:
We do not know at this time what the police are searching for but this is nothing but bad news. If police have enough reason to charge Hernandez with obstruction of justice then it’s a safe bet the police are looking for more evidence. Remember Hernandez allegedly had his house professionally cleaned, broke his cell phone and destroyed the surveillance systems monitoring his home. Throwing something into a body of water is not out of the question.
