If Percy Harvin is to go under the knife like the doctor has suggested for his hip, it would likely end his season before it even started. Harvin is going to get a second opinion next week and all the Seattle Seahawks fans will be holding their breath waiting for the results of that.
That would be a huge blow to the Seahawks offense. The offense will still be powerful and explosive, but Harvin was going to be another option on offense. He is explosive when he is on the field and could have been used in all kinds of different roles, from receiver to running back.
The NFC West is going to be a very competitive division with the 49ers, Rams and Cardinals. All the teams have upgraded their rosters and it will be a dog fight throughout the season.
Harvin was a player that was supposed to help them separate from the pack. He was supposed to help them get over the hump and he was one of the reasons why the Seahawks are legit contenders to go to the Super Bowl. Let’s see whether those hopes take a little hit next week.
