Houston Texans J.J. Watt will be back wearing his elbow brace. He will likely wear it for the whole season. His elbow is a little sore, but it is nothing to be concerned about. He will be fine and will be in opposing backfields and swatting down passes like normal.
“His elbow’s just sore. We brought him out here to practice today, wanted to keep him out of contact. As y’all could see, the majority of practice was contact,” Kubiak said, adding that Watt’s elbow soreness returned Thursday. – ESPN.com
Watt is not a huge fan of the way the thing looks, but for people watching the game, it makes it easy to find out where Watt is at. He is the dude with the big old brace on his arm. OR he is the dude knocking down passes and beating up on the quarterback.
The elbow brace is here to stay. If it isn’t going to slow him down any, then he might as well keep it on that elbow for precautionary reasons.
