Bill Belichick already has a lot of good things to say for wide receiver Danny Amendola.
“He’s become a very dependable player for us. He doesn’t make many mental errors. He’s a guy who is usually in the right spot and has a good understanding of defenses and what he’s supposed to do. You can tell he’s been in the league for four years.” – ESPN.com
Sounds like the type of player that will thrive with the New England Patriots. The team will need other players to step up with the absence of Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez. Rob Gronkowski will be recovering from all kinds of different surgeries that he had in the offseason and could be missing some time.
Amendola will likely get a lot of balls thrown in his direction from Tom Brady on offense. He is going to be the most reliable threat on offense and the other receivers on offense will have to step their game up. I expect to see a lot of good things coming from Amendola this year.
