It can’t be a good situation if the starting quarterback for your team can’t throw the ball down the field further than 25 yards. This sounds like the situation that the Oakland Raiders will have to deal with this season with Matt Flynn starting games for them:

As soon as the opposing defenses get this scouting report, they will bring the safeties up and make sure to cover everything within that 25 yard window. Anything won’t be cause for concern for the defense. The defenses are going to figure this out and it will be tough for the Raiders to make big plays in the passing game.
Terrelle Pryor is going to get opportunities to impress in the next few preseason games, but he better be ready on the sideline. He might get the call to come in and make some plays sooner rather than later..
