Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco thinks that his defense is looking dominant this year:
"“I tell you what, our defense looks really good,” Flacco said on “Mike & Mike in the Morning.” “The front seven, those guys look like they’re going to be dominant. Our secondary, you can argue that it’s better than it’s ever been. … I think we have a pretty special group and I think it’s going to be exciting to watch those guys go after it this year."
That is a big time compliment to a defense that is without All Pro players Ed Reed and Ray Lewis this year. The team is going through some transformation on defense. They have added Elvis Dumervil, Michael Huff, Chris Canty, Marcus Spears and Daryl Smith to the defensive side of the football.
Now we have to see how they will all be able to gel. There is a lot of talent on the defensive side of the football, but they will all have to show that they can work together.
