Vince Young has had quite the NFL career to date. It now appears he has hit rock bottom as the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart for the Green Bay Packers.
There was a time when Young was one of the most feared athletes in the NFL as a member of the Tennesseee Titans. After an emotional breakdown he bounced around with the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills.
Now with the Packers, Young is still horrible. Here’s the proof via our friends at SB Nation:
Young has never exactly been known for his ability to pass the football out of the pocket and he certainly will not be in an offense tailored to his needs if he sticks with Packers.
At this point it is hard to think Young sticks around, although he does have fans in the Green Bay front office. He was brought on for a reason, but things like this in the preseason are hard to forgive—whether it was against a good defense or not.
