Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman has been in the news a lot lately. He missed the team photo because he overslept. REPEAT, the starting quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not part of the team photo. Seems to be a key player to be missing from that photo.

Also, there were reports that his head coach stuffed the ballot for the team vote for Team Captain so that Freeman was not selected. I DEMAND A RECOUNT!!!

It doesn’t seem to be a real comforting location for Freeman at the moment and he is expected to request a trade, via CBS Sports.

So who would want a quarterback that oversleeps for a team photo? If Vince Young can get a job, then I am sure that there are some teams that would want him on their roster. There wouldn’t be many opportunities for him to start though. One of the teams I always think of is the Oakland Raiders when quarterbacks become available, but they have Terrelle Pryor looking pretty good at the moment. The Jets have Geno Smith. The Bills have E.J. Manuel.

Maybe Jacksonville will give them a buzz. They don’t have anything that resembles a quarterback and it wouldn’t cost much to bring him in. The Minnesota Vikings? Not many opportunities for him out there at the moment, but he could be a backup for someone…. MAYBE.
