Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns Injury Report
Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden (3) drops back to pass against the Baltimore Ravens during the first half at M
Both the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns will look to avoid going into an 0-3 hole tomorrow afternoon, but one of these two teams will have to exit Week 3 with an 0-3 record. Below are the latest injury reports for both teams.
Minnesota Vikings
Out
TE Rhett Ellison (knee)
Probable
DT Kevin Williams (knee)
S Harrison Smith (shoulder)
LB Erin Henderson (heel)
G Brandon Fusco (shoulder)
C John Sullivan (knee)
RT Phil Loadholt (knee)
DT Fred Evans (shoulder)
S Mistral Raymond (shoulder)
Cleveland Browns
Out
QB Brandon Weeden (thumb)- If Brian Hoyer impresses, then he could take the job away from Weeden. Michael Lombardi touted Hoyer as an analyst, and this is certainly a huge chance for Hoyer to make an impression on the Browns. He is one of the best backup quarterbacks in the game, but he probably doesn’t have the arm talent to make the jump to starter. However, he does possess terrific accuracy and has a fair shot tomorrow.
OLB Quentin Groves (ankle)- He is out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Doubtful
RG Shawn Lauvao (ankle)- He was expected to play this week, but he was too hobbled at practice. If he does indeed miss tomorrow’s game, then the Browns will be forced to play the disaster that is Oniel Cousins (he was incredibly awful last week) at right guard again.
Questionable
DE Ahtyba Rubin (calf)
Probable
SS T.J. Ward (shoulder)
DE Desmond Bryant (wrist)
WR Josh Cooper (shin)
