The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals are set to square off tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET for what should be a close, interesting game. The biggest storyline is the Buccaneers new starting quarterback, as N.C. State rookie passer Mike Glennon will start behind center and make his NFL debut following the benching of Josh Freeman. Below are the injury reports for both teams, as well as a few notes on the injuries.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Out
G Gabe Carimi (illness)
TE Tom Crabtree (ankle)
CB Michael Adams (knee)
DT Derek Landri (knee)
Questionable
WR Vincent Jackson (ribs)- The Buccaneers star wide receiver suffered the injury in last week’s loss to the New England Patriots, but he is expected to play through the pain this week.
WR Mike Williams (hamstring)- Williams was also injured in last week’s loss, but both he and Vincent Jackson are expected to play tomorrow against the Cardinals. Losing both players would be devastating for the Bucs, but they will probably have both ready.
CB Rashaan Melvin (hamstring)
Probable
DT Gerald McCoy (ankle)
S Mark Barron (hamstring)
DT Gary Gibson (back)
Arizona Cardinals
Out
DT Dan Williams– He’ll miss another game to mourn the death of his father; thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Williams family.
LB Kevin Minter (hamstring)- Sam Acho and Lorenzo Alexander were placed on the injured reserve earlier this week, so the Cardinals are not having good luck with injuries at linebacker.
Questionable
S Rashad Johnson (finger)- He’ll probably need another week off to rest after losing part of his finger in last week’s loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Probable
WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring)- Fitz practiced in full all week.
RB Rashard Mendenhall (toe)- The Cardinals starting running back practiced fully on Thursday and Friday after being limited in Wednesday’s practice.
DE Ronald Talley (wrist)
