The Houston Texans have struggled with the pick-six this season. Matt Schaub is the king of tossing them and the fans have been on him for blowing games and for the team’s struggles.
Today, he had his ankle rolled up on and had to go to the sideline to get his ankle taped up. In his absence, T.J. Yates had his opportunity to throw a few passes and possibly show his worth to the team as a starter. He promptly followed by throwing for a pick-six, just like Matt Schaub has been doing.
Schaub has been on a short leash with the team, but we know why Coach Kubiak keeps putting him out there. The Texans do not have anyone else on the roster that can throw the football. Maybe the Texans should have looked into Josh Freeman. I wonder if they can make a trade for a quarterback in mid-season. I hear that Tim Tebow is available.
