The Houston Texans have issues at the quarterback position. The rest of the roster seems stacked, but they cannot figure out what to do at quarterback. Matt Schaub has not played well and he left Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams with an ankle injury. T.J. Yates is his backup and he entered the game and tossed a pair of interceptions. He is not the answer for the Texans either.
One player is stepping up and letting the Texans know that he is in shape and ready to play some football: Vince Young
Should the Houston Texans give Vince Young a shot to be their starting quarterback? What is there to lose at this point? The Texans are 2-4 and chasing the 4-1 Indianapolis Colts in the standings. Matt Schaub does not look like he is going to get out of his funk any time soon, so if the Texans want to take a chance, they can go ahead and give Vince Young a work out.
