The Green Bay Packers have been snake bit at the linebacker spot lately. Clay Matthews is out with a broken finger and the team wanted to see more production out of Nick Perry with Mathews out. Perry has responded well the last couple of weeks with 3 sacks and 10 tackles against the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens.
Sadly, Nick Perry will be out for some time after suffering a broken foot in the game, per Chris Havel. Perry is expected to come back later in the year, but that is another option for the Packers defense that will be wearing a ball cap and sweats on the sideline.
Now with both Perry and Matthews on the sideline, the team will have to rely on Mike Neal and Andy Mulumba on the outside. Things are getting really thin for the Packers at the position. The team will need to find some depth out from the unemployment line. The team will have some interesting decisions to make coming up with that IR with designation to return spot.
