Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson was on the practice field again on Thursday and looked good out there (Tim Twentyman). Johnson has been nursing a knee injury the last few weeks. He played last week against the Cleveland Browns but did not have a great performance. There are a lot of expectations from Johnson when he steps onto the field. Before the Cleveland game, Johnson was a surprise scratch from the lineup and sat out against the Green Bay Packers so that he could rest the knee.
With Johnson back in practice for the last couple of days and starting to look good, he should be good to get on the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday to light up the field. That game will have two of the best receivers, Johnson and A.J. Green, in the game dueling it out,
Johnson looks like he is ready to go, but it looks like a couple of other guys on the offense still had to sit out practice. Nate Burleson still is out with his broken arm and Tony Scheffler sat out again recovering from a concussion.
