A couple of 4-2 teams are meeting up in Detroit and both teams are looking to protect first place in their division. The Cincinnati Bengals won last week behind a strong performance by Andy Dalton. Dalton has not done great this season, but he led the team to victory last weekend. The Detroit Lions won against the Browns last weekend by forcing turnovers. The Lions are 4th in the league and forcing turnovers and will be looking to pick off Andy Dalton a few times in the game.

Bengals Player to Watch: A.J. Green

Green had not produced like we expected through the first few weeks of the season. With Andy Dalton struggling, A.J. Green’s production dipped. Since Dalton stepped up with a nice performance last weekend, Green broke out with a nice game as well. He finished the day with 6 receptions for 103 yards and a score.

Lions Player to Watch: Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson has been bothered with a knee injury, but was able to get on the field last weekend. He wasn’t as productive as he would have liked, but the team got the victory. He had a couple of drops in the game. Over the last couple of games, Johnson has 7 catches fr 69 yards.

Prediction:

Oct 13, 2013; Cleveland, OH, USA; Detroit Lions fans cheer as Detroit Lions free safety Louis Delmas (26) leaves the field after the game against the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Lions beat the Cleveland Browns 31-17. Mandatory Credit: Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

When a couple of teams that are as evenly matched as these two, I tend to lean on the team with the home field advantage. I think the Lions will be able to get this victory on Sunday and Calvin Johnson will show up again.
