The Kansas City Chiefs can’t seem to lose and now they get to face a quarterback that is making his debut on the NFL level. The Houston Texans will be trotting out Case Keenum on Sunday against the Chiefs with Matt Schaub sidelined with an injury. The Texans have struggled this season and have been one of the league’s biggest disappointments.

Texans Player to Watch: Case Keenum

Aug 29, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum (7) throws in the second quarter against the Dallas Cowboys at AT

The Texans staff likes what they have in Case Keenum, but is he ready to trot out onto the field in a hectic stadium against a tough defense? Keenum has a lot going against him in this start, but it will be his opportunity to shine. The Chiefs are 6-0 and looking to continue their undefeated record and Keenum is being asked to be the spark for the Texans. There isn’t a ton of tape on Keenum, so he does have that advantage going for him.

Chiefs Player to Watch: Justin Houston

Justin Houston is having a career season and will be looking to disrupt that Houston offense. He will be looking to mess up the timing of the young quarterback and to add a few more sacks to his sack total. He already has 9.5 sacks this season and he would love to get the youngster on the ground a few more times.

The Chiefs are going to fall at some point this season, but it is not going to be at home against a quarterback that is making his first NFL start. That is a recipe for disaster for the Texans. The Chiefs again will dominate on defense and will control the ball on offense.
