The Houston Texans got more bad news this season. They already suffered the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and now they will have to continue on for the rest of the season without their star linebacker Brian Cushing for the rest of the season. Cushing tore his LCL and broke his leg in the game.
In the middle of the 3rd quarter in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Cushing was getting after the quarterback when he was cut blocked by RB Jamaal Charles. Cushing went down and was writhing in pain and had to be helped off of the field. He was then taken to the locker room in a cart. The injury looked bad on the replays and the worst was confirmed.
Cushing was lost for the season last year when he injured the same leg. He tore his ACL last year and had to sit out the season. That is back-to-back years that Cushing has tore up that leg and will have to rehab. Just Brutal.
