The Chicago Bears lost the game against the Washington Redskins and likely lost a couple of players in the process. They lost Lance Briggs for a few weeks with a shoulder injury and the Bears defense looked terrible without him in the lineup. The Bears also lost their quarterback Jay Cutler in the game with a groin injury. The offense still put points up on the board against the Redskins, but I don’t see them doing that without Cutler in the lineup in the future.
The Bears have Josh McCown on the roster as the backup and will be starting in his place while Cutler is sitting on the sideline. The Bears will have to sign another quarterback onto the roster, since they do not have another one on the roster. Cutler is expected to be out for 4 weeks while he recovers from his groin injury. The Bears have a BYE week coming up, but then will face off against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football.
The Bears could be struggling for the next few weeks without some of their key players on offense.
