The St. Louis Rams have found their replacements for Sam Bradford for the rest of the season. The team decided to bring in both Austin Davis and Brady Quinn for depth at the quarterback position. They decided that adding a couple of quarterbacks might be a good idea to add to Kellen Clemens.
Clemens is going to be the starter this weekend, but the team will likely have an open competition for that starting job as the weeks go by. Austin Davis should be familiar with the playbook in St. Louis. He spent the season with them last year. He was part of the Dolphins practice squad this yea, but was signed by the Rams.
Brady Quinn was just released by the Jets on Monday and has a roster spot on Tuesday. Just a perfect situation for him. He has the opportunity to grab hold of the starting job in St. Louis. He can be a starting NFL quarterback all over again. He last started for the Chiefs in 2012 and led the team to a 1-7 record. While with the Browns, he led them to a 3-9 record. Just has been terrible in all of his opportunities so far, yet another one arises.
