The Buffalo Bills have a few bumps and bruises that they are resting in practice right now. E.J. Manuel is still out, but Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller took practice off as well (Joe Buscaglia).

Both Jackson and Spiller are resting injuries that they have been dealing with in the weeks past. Jackson has a knee injury that he is resting, while Spiller has an ankle injury that limited him on the field Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He only saw 14 snaps on Sunday against the Dolphins. They need to let him rest and get him well. The BYE week isn’t until week 12 and the injury is limiting his production:

"“The injury has everything to do with it, not some of it,” coach Doug Marrone said of Spiller’s paltry playing time and numbers. “We’re looking at the production, seeing if he’s getting better and not putting him out there in jeopardy.” (Bills.com)"

Get Spiller some rest and let him get on the field when his ankle feels better. It is not doing him any good to get on the field at this time.
