Rumor has it that Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams wanted to go onto the IR a couple of weeks ago, but just played through the injury because head coach Greg Schiano didn’t want that. Since Schiano didn’t want that to happen, Williams tried to play through the injury. Williams wasn’t placed onto IR until today and he had told the local newspaper that he had torn his hamstring a couple of days prior.
Williams first hurt his hamstring a few weeks ago against the Arizona Cardinals, but still went onto the field with the injury. The Bucs faced off against the Cardinals on September 29th and Williams played in a couple of games since that injury. He didn’t participate in the game on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers though.
It seems that the rumors against Greg Schiano are piling up. The team needs to figure out what is going wrong. It seems that the team is against Schiano and he definitely has lost his team. Time to make that move already. Stop delaying the inevitable.
