All the talk and smoke and mirrors for Jared Allen are clearing up and it seems that Jared Allen is going to stick around in Minnesota for the rest of the year. The Denver Broncos were the latest rumored team to be interested, but Mike Klis says the team was not interested in adding Allen onto the roster. Jared Allen has 4.5 sacks this year, compared to 6.5  from Shaun Phillips.

The Broncos would have been a destination that made a ton of sense for Allen, considering the salary cap and the Broncos are in a “win now” mode. The team is made up of veteran pieces and they want to win the Super Bowl in the next couple of seasons.

Allen was hoping to get out of his situation in Minnesota early. He admitted that this is one of the worst defenses that he has played on and was looking to join up with a new cast and crew. Hopefully he would be playing for a ring. Looks like he will be stuck in Minnesota for a little while longer.
