The Baltimore Ravens have been missing a little something on offense this year. They have not had their running game moving and the passing game is missing a few key players. Anquan Boldin is with the San Francisco 49ers and Dennis Pitta went down with an injury during training camp. With both of those options taken away from Joe Flacco, the team has not been able to move the ball as effectively as they would have liked.

Pitta was placed on the IR list with the designation to return and he will be joining the team in practice on Wednesday. He could be a nice boost for the team. He is a red zone threat and he is an outlet for Joe Flacco to dump the ball off to.

The Ravens are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, so adding a weapon on the offense late in the year could be a nice boost for the team down the stretch. We know what happened with this team down the stretch last season.
