Indianapolis Colts star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton has been dealing with a minor shoulder injury over the past few weeks, but that wasn’t the main reason why he was so quiet ever since back-to-back monster games to start November. The Colts just weren’t throwing it to the playmaking wideout enough, and good things happened when the Colts finally made putting the ball in Hilton’s plan a priority. He put up eight receptions for 78 yards in a very good game against the Houston Texans last week, and he would have most likely eclipsed 10 and 100 if the Colts didn’t pump the brakes on the blowout.
There were some concerns regarding Hilton’s status for this week’s big game against the Kansas City Chiefs, as he missed yesterday’s practice with the aforementioned shoulder injury. This caused today’s practice to be an important one for Hilton, but those concerns have been quelled now.
According to the Indianapolis Star’s Mike Chappell, Hilton returned to practice today, which means that he is going to be a full-go against the Chiefs. There shouldn’t be the slightest concern regarding Hilton’s status for this week’s contest, because only a serious setback could cause him to miss this week’s game. It’s going to be a tough matcuhp for the standout wide receiver, but he’s still a must-start in fantasy and figures to produce at a high level if he is as much of the Colts gameplan this week as he was last week. And honestly, the Colts would be foolish (assuming that the Chiefs don’t sell out their coverage on him too much) not to ask Andrew Luck to focus on giving Hilton the ball often, because Hilton is their best player.
