Earlier in the year, the league agreed that they would be able to assign a team for the HBO hit show NFL Hard Knocks. They would have to reach a few requirements in order for the league to be able to assign to the show. Here is a list of those requirements:
- That team doesn’t have a new (head?) coach.
- That team didn’t make the playoffs in either of the previous 2 seasons.
- That team didn’t appear on Hard Knocks in the last 10 years.
Based off of those requirements, here are the teams that would qualify for the NFL Hard Knocks, if nobody volunteers for the show:
- Arizona Cardinals
- Buffalo Bills
- Chicago Bears
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- New York Giants
- Oakland Raiders
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- St. Louis Rams
I always wanted to see what it was like in the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room. Would love to see Ben Roethlisberger lead the team.
The Jacksonville Jaguars might be a fun team to watch, depending on who they take in the first round of the draft. If they take Johnny Manziel, that team would be fun to see. Gus Bradley has done some good things there and the team is young and looking to make it’s mark.
Which team would you want to see on the show?
