Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery has been added to the Pro Bowl roster, filling in for the injured Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson. Johnson will be unable to participate in the game because of some knee issues that he has been dealing with.
Jeffery had an incredible season with the Bears in his second season in the league. He finished the year with 1421 yards receiving and 7 scores. He deserves the recognition and he deserves to participate in that game. It was a shame that he missed out on the game in the first place. He will be joining his teammates Matt Forte and Brandon Marshall in the festivities.
“Thanks to all the fans for all of the support this season and I’m looking forward to playing with Brandon and Matt in Hawaii.” – Alshon Jeffery via Bears twitter account.
The future of the Bears offense is looking bright. Jay Cutler just signed a new deal with the Bears and has some awesome weapons to work with on his roster. He has a pair of Pro Bowl wide receivers and a Pro Bowl running back. All he has to do is get the ball out to them and just watch what they do. The Bears offense has the best pair of receivers in the league.
