The Kansas City Chiefs will be looking to add some help at the receiver position in the offseason. One name that they likely will be interested in free agency is Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin. The Kansas City Star suggests that the Chiefs could show some interest in the speedy wide receiver.

Maclin will be returning from an ACL injury and likely will not get the contract that he was originally hoping to see in free agency. He may be looking to get an incentive filled one-year deal from some team.

The Kansas City Chiefs could be interested because of Andy Reid‘s connection to the receiver. Reid drafted Maclin during his tenure with the Eagles and he knows the type of talent that he would be picking up.

Maclin is a speedster and would be a good option to line up opposite of Dwayne Bowe. Bowe is coming off of a disappointing season, but he did step up huge  in the post season. Adding another weapon on offense would help free up Bowe and help open things up more on offense.
