Washington State safety Deone Bucannon is standing out in Senior Bowl practices today. Bucannon is projected to be the top strong safety available in the draft by CBS Sports. He was one of the hardest hitting players in college football this season and will be looking to make an impact on the NFL stage soon.
During Senior Bowl practices, there were a number of scouts that were speaking to him after practice. The Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles were a few of the teams that were seen hovering around Bucannon. All three teams could use some help in their secondary.
Bucannon will be a player to keep your eyes on during the Senior Bowl and during the NFL Combines. He could rise up a few draft boards. He is currently projected to go in the 2nd round, but he could shoot his way higher. His performance at Senior Bowl practice has already stood out:
