There could be some trouble in paradise over in Baltimore. It seems that owner Steve Bisciotti and GM Ozzie Newsome are in favor of bringing in Gary Kubiak to run the team’s offense and head coach John Harbaugh is a “non-factor” in that decision making process, per Mike Preston.
After winning the Super Bowl last season, you would think that head coach John Harbaugh should be secure in his job as the head man, but moves like this can’t give you much confidence. Harbaugh will have his 3rd different offensive coordinator in the last few seasons after they hire in the new guy to run the offense. There has been a lot of turnover at the position and the offense has not looked particularly great in the last couple of seasons. They need to get more stability in that department.
Hopefully Gary Kubiak and John Harbaugh get along real well, they could be teamed up to run the Ravens offense and the head coach’s opinions on the matter are a non-factor. Otherwise, there could be a mess on the horizon.
