Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson gutted through most of the 2013 season with a torn meniscus, per Jason LaCanfora. Johnson played in all 16 games and finished the season with over 1000 yards rushing and added another 345 yards receiving. He is a candidate to be released in the offseason though because his production does not match the amount of money that they are investing in him. The Titans are paying him a ton.

Johnson will have to prove his toughness on another team if he were to get released. He is scheduled to have the torn meniscus repaired tomorrow and that should be enough time for him to be prepped for training camp. We just don’t know whose training camp he will be attending.

Still seems pretty impressive for Johnson to rack up another 1000 yard season under his belt while running on a busted knee. What could he have done with a couple of good knees? Could he have gone for over 2000 again? Probably not!

Some team will give him a chance next season and will hope to bring back that magic of that 2000 yard season all over again.
