Chicago Bears backup quarterback Josh McCown is a free agent this offseason and he has the opportunity to join another team to compete for a starting job on that roster. McCown has jumped from roster to roster around the NFL and he has finally found a home. McCown feels right at home with the Chicago Bears.
McCown has been with the Chicago Bears for the last 3 seasons and he has found a good gig with the Bears. Last season, he played some of his best football and that could have opened up an opportunity for him on anther team. He finished the season throwing for 13 touchdowns and only threw 1 interception in his 8 games. Some team around the NFL might want to give him a shot at being a starting quarterback. Teams around the league are desperate for some sturdy play at the quarterback position and McCown showed he could get it done. The Bears would rather him stay around and backup Jay Cutler.
Will some team give McCown an opportunity to start? Where will McCown end up?
