Word is out that Demaryius Thomas separated his shoulder in the first quarter of the Super Bowl, but played through the injury and finished out the game. That is one tough football player. I bet he hurt it on the Kam Chancellor hit in the first quarter. Chancellor laid the wood down on that hit.

Thomas did continue on in the game though with the injury and still was able to make plays. He still finished the night with a touchdown reception and broke the record for catches in a game for the Super Bowl. He finished with 13 catches on the night.
The Seattle defense wants to make sure you feel their hits. They want to strike fear in their opponents and Chancellor is ready to make a big hit on every play. He made Thomas feel it on that play and likely was the play where Thomas separated his shoulder.
