Richie Incognito has the reputation of a bully in the league after the Jonathan Martin mess that he is still waiting to hear the results of the investigation. Incognito has that reputation thoug, so when he comes out and gives his support to Michael Sam people will take notice. People want to see the reaction from players in the locker room from guys like Incognito.
Here is Incognito’s tweet to Sam:
If you are unaware, Michael Sam is a prospect that is entering the draft this season and revealed that he was gay. He would be the first openly gay player in the league. There will be some controversy that follows him around. Some players will give him support while others might not be so kind about the situation.
Incognito is one of the players that will give him support in the league. His support for Jonathan Martin on the other hand, we are still waiting to see what the investigation tells us about that.
