Karlos Dansby helped the Arizona Cardinals create an attitude on the defensive side of the football. The team had a personality on that side of the football last season and was a big reason for their success. They just missed out on the playoffs last year and they will be making another push this season. Dansby would like to be part of that push and he expects to remain with the team:
“I definitely expect to be an Arizona Cardinal next year,” Dansby said, via Darren Urban of the team’s official website. “We don’t have long here so we’ll get to talking and try and hammer something out.”
Dansby had an exceptional year. He finished the season with 6.5 sacks and four interceptions on the Cardinals defense. The defense was a strength last season and Dansby’s contributions helped gain that success.
He wants to hammer something out before free agency kicks in and I am sure the team would love to get him back signed.
