The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the teams that could be forced into the HBO hit show Hard Knocks, but they would not be happy if that were to happen. The show is a hit for the fans, but there are not many teams that like the publicity and the intrusion that it brings to the locker room. The Jaguars are one of the teams that would be less than pleased to have those extra eyes floating around all the time.
Here is GM Dave Caldwell’s response when he was asked about the show:
“That’s a good question,” Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell told Pro Football Talk on NBCSN. “Our reaction would be that we would try to defer.”
The Jaguards volunteered to be on the show a couple of seasons ago, but since they have been under new management, the show is not at the top of their priority list anymore. It is nowhere to be seen. They would rather just get work done and not have to worry about all the extra madness that the cameras would bring.
Which team will be on the show this season?
